New foreign exchange office opened in Salzburg
Interchange Austria has opened a new foreign exchange office in Salzburg, one of Austria’s most popular tourist destinations.
Apart from foreign exchange services, the new office office will provide tax refunds to international visitors. Interchange is one of the largest processors of tax refunds in Austria. Additionally money transfer services will be offered through its Western Union franchise in this high demand area. The opening marks Interchange’s return to Salzburg having acquired and for many years operated the former American Express branch which had existed since 1918.
Daniel Pajak, Managing Director of Interchange in Austria, commented:
“By enlarging our network of branches, we are strengthening our position in Austria as one of the market leaders in the provision of banking services for travellers. By offering our services in Salzburg, one of Austria’s most beautiful and internationally best-known destinations, we are making the logical step of adding to our existing successful operations in Vienna Airport, Vienna city centre and at the McArthurGlen Outlet in Parndorf.”
